CASE STUDY:
PUTNEY - 10kW SOLAR PV & BATTERY

GENERAL INFORMATION

Address: Putney NSW 2112
Type of Facility: Residential (New Development)

SITE DESCRIPTION

  • Solar system commissioning performed in conjunction with roof
construction. The proposed pebble roof provided a unique challenge
for a roof mounted Solar PV System.
  • Large two storey residence with an average daily electrical load
    above 60 kWh per day.

PROJECT DETAILS

  • Installed a 10 kW Solar PV system, consisting of 34 x 300W poly-crystalline modules and a top quality SolarEdge backup inverter to function during blackouts.
  • Installed a 9.8kWh LG Chem Lithium Ion Battery
  • In order to overcome the proposed pebble roof, we liaised with contractors to install our system at the same time. This ensured the roof could be suitably waterproofed and the pebbles wouldn’t impede the mounting.
